Terms of use
Version of 20 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to organisations that use VeriList and to each person with a VeriList account. By using VeriList, you accept these terms. VeriList is operated by Adaa Foundation for Studies and Research.
2. The service
VeriList checks beneficiary lists for possible duplicates, household links, ID problems and data gaps, and presents the results for review. VeriList is in its pilot phase. Features may change as it develops.
3. Access and accounts
Access is by request and approval. Each account is for one person. Keep your sign-in details private and do not share your account. Tell us at once if you think your account has been misused.
4. Your organisation's responsibilities
Upload only lists your organisation is entitled to process, and only the columns the check needs. Follow your organisation's data protection rules and those agreed with your donors and partners. Your organisation remains responsible for its data and for the decisions it makes.
5. What VeriList does not do
VeriList flags records for review. It does not clear, approve, certify or exclude any person or list. It never removes or edits a record. Every decision stays with your team.
6. Acceptable use
Do not:
- use VeriList for any unlawful purpose;
- try to reach another organisation's data;
- test, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the service;
- upload health, protection or vulnerability information.
7. Your data
Your organisation's lists remain yours. We handle them as described in the privacy notice. You can delete a list and its results at any time.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep VeriList available, but we may update, pause or end the service. We will give notice where we can. We will announce important changes to these terms by email, with a new version date.
9. Limits
Results support your review. They depend on the quality of the data uploaded and do not replace field verification or your own judgement. Adaa Foundation is not responsible for decisions made using the results. Nothing in these terms limits any right that cannot be limited by law.
